COMPETITION TERMS

Entry conditions for AUEC players.

Eligibility

Each player must satisfy the university and event eligibility criteria published for the competition. Registration alone does not guarantee approval. AUEC may request reasonable evidence of current enrolment and can reject or withdraw an entry that does not meet the rules.

Player-owned accounts

Each competitor must use their own AUEC player session, institutional details, Discord identity and Epic/Fortnite identity. Account sharing, authenticating on behalf of a teammate or using another person’s identity is prohibited.

Duos and roster changes

A duo is not competition-ready until both players independently complete required checks. Roster changes are available only while the roster state permits them. Approved or locked rosters require organiser intervention.

Check-in and competition operations

Players must follow published registration, check-in, lobby and match windows. AUEC may use supported third-party tournament infrastructure to operate Fortnite matches. Official AUEC results are based on verified and finalised competition records, not unreviewed third-party scores.

Fair play

Cheating, collusion, account sharing, deliberate exploitation, falsified eligibility information and interference with tournament systems are prohibited. Organisers may review evidence and apply decisions allowed by the event rules.

Changes and notices

Material changes to competition format, scoring, eligibility, dates or dispute processes should be published before they take effect. Players are responsible for reviewing the current rules and competition status before competing.

Privacy

Player information is handled as described in the AUEC privacy notice. Support or correction requests can be submitted through AUEC support.
